Costa Rica

The next day on the farm. I probably took this at about 5:30am. I think the roosters don't sleep (the family had a rare novelty: streetlights... which I think the roosters interpret as a permanently rising sun), and the family must have been up at or before 5am.

Our door on the left, the main house on the right.

Leaving on a walk to see who else was up.

Back at the Ecolodge. This ball of matted khaki is a sloth.

Driving to the beach. This was a cool little church.

Recycling station -- they tend to recycle EVERYTHING. Except for toilet paper, which goes in a trashcan next to the toilet... not very gross, actually. They eat so healthy (a lot of plant fiber) that not much is needed... or is that too much information?

We stopped at the Mini Super Taiwan. It's like the Super Taiwan, just smaller. And it's better than the Mini Taiwan.

Over a river somewhere in Guanacaste.

Day 8:

Back at the airport. This is about as fancy as the airport got... it was open-air, but very comfortable.

Check out the ceiling fan.
